Entitled "Umuulan ng Libro: Philippine Children’s Book Summit," it will be a gathering of authors, illustrators, publishers, educators, and librarians who are committed to this thriving aspect of the book publishing industry. One of our guest speakers will include winner of the Illustrator’s Award at the 2015 Sharjah Children’s Reading Festival, Wen Dee Tan. Learn more about Wen Dee Tan (Malaysian illustrator)

"Wen Dee Tan graduated with an MA Children’s Book Illustration course in Cambridge School of Arts, UK. Lili, which she both wrote and illustrated, is her first book. It won third place in the Macmillan Prize 2013, an annual picture book competition organised by Macmillan Children's Books, and is now published by Fat Fox Books. The book's illustrations were also recently awarded first place in the Sharjah Children's Reading Festival for Illustration 2015. Her second book is The Great Dragon Warrior, which she illustrated, published by Epigram Books.

Besides her love for drawing, Wen Dee loves telling stories. She believes good stories should appeal to all ages, not just children. She currently lives in Malaysia, and is hard at work on her next book."
